You shouldn't have to choose between seeing clearly and protecting your sleep.

Our LUNA Fitover Blue Light Blocking Glasses are designed to fit comfortably over most prescription eyewear, allowing you to enjoy maximum nighttime blue light protection without removing the glasses you rely on every day.

Evenings should feel calm, quiet, and restorative—not overstimulating. While the ideal foundation is using Chromalux® incandescent lighting, which is naturally low in blue light, modern life often keeps us surrounded by bright screens and artificial lighting long after sunset.

These deep red lenses block 100% of blue and green wavelengths (400–550nm)—the portions of the visible spectrum most responsible for suppressing melatonin and signaling "daytime" to your brain. By filtering out these stimulating wavelengths, the LUNA Fitover glasses help your body naturally transition into its evening state, making it easier to relax, unwind, and prepare for deeper, more restorative sleep—all while wearing your prescription glasses comfortably underneath.

Benefits

Blue light blocking glasses create a calmer, more sleep-supportive evening by blocking 100% (in our Luna red lenses) or 97% (in our Eclipse amber lenses) of stimulating blue and green light — the wavelengths most responsible for suppressing melatonin and signaling “daytime” to your brain. By removing these alerting frequencies, your brain and body can ease into its natural nighttime rhythm, helping you unwind more quickly, feel less stimulated, and transition into deeper, more restorative sleep. Perfect for evenings, screen time, and any environment where you can’t fully control the lighting.

How to use

Use your Luna red lens glasses after sunset anytime you’re exposed to bright or artificial light — especially screens. While Chromalux® incandescent and Red Unwind Bulbs create the ideal low-blue evening environment, modern life isn’t always bulb-perfect. Slip on your luna lenses when watching TV, checking your phone, working late, or spending time under lighting you can’t control. They block 100% of stimulating blue and green wavelengths, helping your body stay in its natural nighttime rhythm so melatonin can flow and sleep comes more easily.

Slip them on 1–2 hours before bed while:
• reading or journaling
• preparing dinner or tea
• relaxing with family
• watching a movie
• finishing a bit of work

If used correctly, you should feel more tired wearing red lens blue light blocking glasses. As such, we do not recommend driving while wearing these. Our yellow lenses would be a more suitable option!

Why Block Blue Light At Night?

Blue and green light are powerful daytime signals. After sunset, exposure to these visible light frequencies in the range of approximately 400nm - 550nm — even in small amounts — can delay melatonin release, and make falling asleep harder than it should be.

Our lenses filter out these awakening wavelengths of light, allowing your mind and body to ease into a more relaxed, sleep-ready state while you unwind, read, or scroll before bed.

The result?

A noticeably calmer mind, softer eyes, and a smoother transition into deep, restorative sleep.
